Students will need to pack a breakfast item, since we won't have a lot of time to stop for other than the restroom. Everyone should budget for two dinners and incidentals. Lunches are covered both days, although 3 pm is a little late for "lunch", so some may want to purchase a snack before the picnic.

Each student is allowed ONE bag plus their instrument. We have two vans traveling to assist with the larger instruments, but there will still be very little extra room. If you have a purse or SMALL carry on that you don't mind having under your feet or in your lap, that is fine. Last week, the instruments took all the overhead space.

Items to bring:
-change of clothes for Kennywood and Sunday
-swimsuit (if so inclined)
-comfortable shoes
-raingear, in case
-money for two dinners, snacks, and incidentals (your lunch is covered Sat and Sun, breakfast is covered Sun)
-book/something to do on bus
-DVDs are welcome for the bus, subject to teacher approval (no R rated movies)

Students should arrive to load the bus at 6 am, dressed for the performance. Time constraints require this. Students not dressed in concert attire will not board the bus or travel with us.

All students are subject to the KCS policies for the duration of the trip. There will be no visitation in rooms by members of the opposite gender. Any student unwilling to follow directions or abide by the rules will be sent home, with their parents coming to Pittsburgh to retrieve them.

If it rains, the hotel is very nice and there are other things nearby.
